Vacation
Our vacation is almost over. Friday we will begin our trek back towards Chicago and then getting back in on Saturday we will swing back into action ensuring that everything is ready to go for Sunday morning. We have had an incredible time of catching up on rest and enjoying some wonderful entertainment here in Branson, MO. Tuesday we had the opportunity to ride one of the best Go-Kart tracks I have ever seen. I have to admit that Camille eat me each time. I was winning and then she teamed up with another woman and they caused me to spin out!
Wednesday was incredible. We went to check out the musical performance of NOAH at the Sight and Sound theater and I have to say this was the best Christian production I have ever seen. The actors and writers and the did a remarkable time of really showing Gods plan of salvation through the Jesus! If you ever visit this area you have to check out this theater. The entire theater became the ark as we sailed with Noah and his family inside the ark with animals all around us.
Last night we were able to check out a tremendous church as we enjoyed worship and good biblical teaching on being thankful in all situations. James River Assembly is a huge beautiful church that you can not help but see as you travel down I-65 towards Branson. The level of excellence there was obvious from the beautiful landscaping all the way through the building.
So…today we are having the opportunity to go and meet up with Rev. Paul and Ann Martin. Pastor Paul has been a spiritual mentor for me so it will be nice to catch up with them in their new area of ministry!
