Another Awesome Weekend!
First off…Conragtulations to Christina who gave birth to a big, healthy baby girl on Friday!
Ok enough on the baby front! Saturday was an incredible day not only with great weather but the training at Children’s Hunger Fund for their Compassion Ministry was really well done and informative. This organization has been such a blessing and I am so honored to know them and be able to work with such a wonderful agency.
Then came Sunday…WIth temps in the 80’s and not a cloud in the sky I really expected a slim crowd as I thought many people would be out enjoying the great weather! Was I ever surprised! Our 11am service was really packed and we had a better than normal first service as well. I am always humbled and amazed at the people that sacrifice their time to come and hear what the Lord has for us all. I know in our consumer culture that everyone has many options for not only places to worship but just in all the activities that people could be doing. So when I see so many deciding to come and worship God with us it is a bit overwhelming! I am honored to be able to pastor this church. I am also blessed to know that God has called us together for the purpose of blessing Him through our praise and worship and through our service into the community.
So after it is all said and done…I am left with a final thought. Thanks ROCC for allowing me to serve this ministry and for allowing me to be a part of so many awesome families!
