Great Weekend
I am sitting in Starbucks trying to wake up and recover from a really great weekend. I love preaching and teaching on the prophetic word of God when it deals with the end times. Even with all the math we did during the message it seemed that everyone stayed with me and I think we really began to know just how in control God is. The word of God is full of so many treasures that he reveals to us at just the right time.
Our dance team has been working hard this weekend with practice on Saturday and Sunday so I am beginning to really get excited about our Easter Service. The drama, the dance and the music all combined will make for the most incredible Easter ever! I know God is going to move in a mighty way as we continue to separate ourselves for His work.
Lastly, we had our first quarterly gathering of leaders and volunteers that really was a great time of fellowship and laughter. My desire this year is to really pour into our leaders and volunteers as they are pouring so much of themselves into the ministry of the church. A strong leadership team will naturally lead to a strong church. I must say though that after reviewing the surveys that we took it is a little humbling and even a little hard to take as I see I still have a lot of work to do personally, and as the leader of this ministry. I really do want to be the best I can for God. So today I will take time to begin praying through these results and laying myself before God so He can reveal what areas need to be changed. It is always humbling to realize that we still have work that needs to be done, yet it is encouraging to know that He is faithful to be with us through the process.
