Tragedy in Tinley
Last week we were all startled by news of a horrible shooting in a clothing store in Tinley Park. Everyday new details are emerging about this case as police continue to look for the person or people involved. Fortunately there was one survivor that has begun to give police some details about the person that committed this crime. Violence cannot be tolerated by us as the representatives of Christ and we need to stand with other churches as we seek God in the necessary healing and restoration process. This Saturday, Christian Life Center will be holding a prayer vigil in front to the store at 10am. I would like to encourage everyone to try and make plans to attend this time of prayer as we show our support and concern for the victims and families affected by this tragedy.
