New Friend
Today was a great day in that I have now met someone with a great heart for God’s people and I am excited about beginning a new friendship. Pastor Rob from New Life Fellowship in Tinley Park met with me for lunch so that he could drop off toys that his church gathered for our Christmas Gift Give-Away. Knowing that we are both energetic in our passion to serve the Lord helped us immediately begin on good ground. I find it amazing that when Christians meet and talk that since we have so much in common through the love of Christ that friendships can begin rather quickly. So only time will tell what God has in store for us but I look forward to doing ministry together and getting to know him and his wife.
After having lunch I was driving back to the church and an overwhelming since of humility overcame me. I think about this often yet today it just really hit me. I am so blessed that God has placed me here. We are seeing some amazing things that God is doing and it is just exciting to be here and being a part of this great work. My life has had many twist and turns yet now I know I am right in the middle of God’s perfect will for my life. Amazing to think how God still uses the despised lowly things of the world to make an eternal difference for the Kingdom!

i would like to say something to both bodies one day.
