I will keep this simple and try to not get involved with the debate on this. I felt compelled though to just say that I am praying for the families of all those involved in this horrible injustice. My prayer is that somehow we can find real reconciliation! I am praying that the white students involved will see that we are all children of the one true God and would truly repent of their deeds. Also, I pray that the black students involved will realize that we can never allow our anger to seek revenge when we have been wronged. My heart goes out to all involved. Lastly, I pray that as a nation we can move beyond color and move into a place of love through Christ.
Has an injustice been done…Yes! We cannot change all the injustice that has been done but we can trust in the Lord to bring true reconciliation if we would just turn our hearts over to Him.
