Emotional Weekend!
I had a great time hanging out with the ROCC family today at the house yet it was kind of sad holding a final service at the old church. Crazy to think the final service in that building was my first service there! It was fun to hear the stories and just see all that God has done for this amazing church family. The best part was having Mike Jr. close out the service by leading us in How Great Is Our God. (Great job Mike Jr.)
Service was great and the response has been overwhelming already! God is really stretching us!!
The School Supply Give-Away was just awesome beyond description. Over 300 children have been blessed with backpacks and school supplies! It was really great to see all the children that came to the church today with their backpacks on and proud of them. Really brought a tear to my eye to see how incredibly grateful they are!
Lastly, the service Saturday night at Christian Life Center was moving and challenging. I know that God is going to continue to use Pastor Mark Batterson to impact our world!
