About Us

River Oaks Community Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, comprised of more than 12,000 churches and 2.8 million people in the U.S., and an estimated 52.5 million individuals worldwide, making it one of the fastest-growing fellowships in the world. God continues to show great favor to and blessing on the Assemblies of God as this movement of people strives to fulfill the will and purpose of the Lord. "Affiliation" means we are not controlled by a parent organization; rather, the Assemblies of God believes that the best leadership for a community is at the local level. We are owned, operated and controlled by the local membership here at ROCC.

On July 2, 2006, Rev. Troy O'Quin was chosen by the church membership to be Senior Pastor of ROCC. Pastor Troy is a man on fire for God, and we are excited for the breath of fresh air he and his wife Camille will be bringing to our church.
