What are you thankful for this year?
I am thankful for so much that it is hard to put words to it all…
1. I am thankful for an incredible wife that is doing a wonderful job carrying these two awesome blessings of God!
2. I am thankful that God has blessed my family with two wonderful girls that will be coming out of the womb real soon!
3. I am thankful for the opportunity to pastor the greatest church this side of heaven! ROCC is really an incredible church and that is all due to the fact that it is made up of such wonderful people!
4. I am thankful to serve with such an awesome associate…Dexter is not only an awesome preacher but he is a good friend as well!
5. I am thankful to serve with such an incredible staff…Laura is a fabulous Children’s Pastor and Rick, Elaine and Leeval do such a great job of keeping ROCC running smoothly on a day to day basis.
6. I am thankful for the sharpest leadership team I have ever been a part of…the leaders at ROCC always go way above and beyond in serving the people that God has brought our way!
7. I am thankful to serve with the most dedicvated board members that I have ever known…the board at ROCC is the easiest board to work with because we are always p[raying and allowing God to stretch us!
8. I am thankful to lead a church in the best municipality that truly seeks the Lord in all they do…the leadership in the Village of South Holland is really a godly bunch of people that do a wonderful job taking care of the needs of the village.
9. I am thankful for all the members of ROCC that have allowed me to share life changing events with their families.
10. I am thankful for a church that not only comes for a sermon but a church that is always ready to serve the community which we are in through various outreach methods!
11. I am thankful for an awesome lawn care service that provided service at my home all season free of charge! God is truly good!
12. I am thankful for a contractor that provided railings for our front steps free of charge!
13. I am thankful for a plumber that put a new bathroom in our home at a cost that was half what another contractor was going to charge!
14. I am thankful for all the friends and family that have provided so many blessings for the girls that we are eagerly awaiting!
15. I am thankful for the Worship Team of ROCC and how they have all risen to a new level in the sudden departure of my wife due to bed rest!
16. I am thankful to all the friends that have helped during this time of bed rest for Camille!
17. I am thankful for some incredible business connections with Starbucks, Wal-Mart, CSX, Tri Excellence Transportation, Children’s Hunger Fund and Excel Electric that have all helped the ministry of ROCC expand into the community around us!
18. I am thankful for powerful connections with other churches in our community such as Lorimer Baptist, Spirit of God Fellowship, Shepherds Heart Community Church and many others!
19. I am thankful for the awesome Night’s of Worship that we have had courtesy of Atmosphere of Heaven!
20. I am thankful for having the opportunity to stand in my brothers wedding this year!
