The Village of South Holland Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with River Oaks Community Education and Development Corporation (ROC ED) to provide South Holland children and youth a safe, nurturing, educational and fun place to learn, grow and socialize. This is accomplished through creative activities and programming that will engage young people in developing a sense of honor in themselves, tolerance and conflict resolution with their peers and ownership in their community. The vision of ROC ED is to assist children and youth in gaining the confidence to affect positive change in an increasingly global and multi cultural community and world.

The Before and After School Enrichment Program will focus on: 1) academic enrichment, 2) cultural enrichment, 3) health and wellness and 4) life skill development. Participants will be given the opportunity to join various clubs to enhance their enrichment activities.

2010-2011 PRICING*:

Before School Enrichment Only (6:30 am – 8:30 am)
$115 South Holland Resident (per month) $165 Non South Holland Resident (per mo)

After School Enrichment Only (2:30 pm – 7:00 pm)
$195 SH Resident (per month) $245 Non SH Res (per mo)

Before and After School Enrichment (see times above)
$280 SH Resident (per month) $330 Non SH Res (per mo)

* additional daily fee for days when school is not in session

A one-time registration fee of $25 or $40 per family must be paid upon confirmation of enrollment.

Craft vendors and individuals are welcome to come and set up their merchandise on the corner of 170th and South Park Ave. Spaces are limited and will be on a first come basis.
