Enroll for Before & After School Enrichment Program

The Village of South Holland Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with River Oaks Community Education and Development Corporation (ROC ED) to provide South Holland children and youth a safe, nurturing, educational and fun place to learn, grow and socialize.  This is accomplished through creative activities and programming that will engage young people in developing a sense of honor in themselves, tolerance and conflict resolution with their peers and ownership in their community. The vision of ROC ED is to assist children and youth in gaining the confidence to affect positive change in an increasingly global and multi cultural community and world.

The Before and After School Enrichment Program will focus on: 1) academic enrichment, 2) cultural enrichment, 3) health and wellness and 4) life skill development.  Participants will be given the opportunity to join various clubs to enhance their enrichment activities.

$115 South Holland Resident (per month)   $165 Non South Holland Resident (per mo)

After School Enrichment Only   (2:30 pm – 7:00 pm)

 * additional daily fee for days when school is not in session

A one-time registration fee of $25 or $40 per family must be paid upon confirmation of enrollment.

Garage / Craft Sale

Take advantage of our incredible location as we clear out our houses and prepare for the new season.  Craft vendors and individuals are welcome to come and set up their merchandise on the corner of 170th and South Park Ave.  Spaces are limited and will be on a first come basis.  The cost for the space will be $25 and $30 for space and table.  Sign up right away!  Email pastortroy@rocconline.org to reserve your space today!

Join us beginning April 25th for a new Sermon Series that will explore the storms we experience in our life.

Night of Worship

Join us beginning April 16th for a Night of Worship.  We will gather on the third Friday of each month with one purpose.  Our sole purpose for gathering will be to worship God and bask in His presence. 

Doors open at 7pm

Mall of America Trip

Join us on Saturday, April 10th for a trip to the Mall of America in Minnesota.  The trip is open to everyone 18 and over at a cost of $60 per person.  A deposit of $30 is due by March 14th.  The balance will be due on March 28th.  For more information please call our office at (708) 331-8881.

1.  I am thankful for an incredible wife that is doing a wonderful job carrying these two awesome blessings of God!

2.  I am thankful that God has blessed my family with two wonderful girls that will be coming out of the womb real soon!

Slime Time!

Once again this year our Fall Festival will be Slime Time.  Bring the kids out for this fun filled scientific experience and the chance to get tons of CANDY!  Last year we had almost 400 children come through for this fun filled night of games, laughter and an age appropriate, hands on Gospel message.
