Intercessors

In today’s bible reading I noticed something that I have never paid attention to before.

Jeremiah 15:1 Then the Lord said to me, “Even if Moses and Samuel were standing in front of me, I would not feel sorry for these people. Send them away from me, and let them go.

When reading this I found myself wondering if we had any intercessors in our world today that are like Moses and Samuel. It almost seems that God was saying that these two men had an incredible ability to intercede on behalf of God’s people. Now I know that we have Christ interceding on our behalf but I think our world needs powerful intercessors like Moses and Samuel that can plead for mercy from God for our troubled world.

Our vacation bible school has been a huge success this year! Once again we are shattering attendance records as we are reaching more children with the life changing message of the Gospel than ever before. Huge kudos for all the wonderful volunteers that have given of their time and energy to make this event the best in ROCC history.

Grand Opening

Today was one big celebration! Rev. Gary Blanchard preached an incredible message then we had our largest cookout ever. There were people all over the property that I saw with smiles on their faces as they were eating, laughing, playing and simply enjoying a great day. It seems that even God celebrated with us by providing a wonderful summer afternoon!

A huge thanks goes out to everyone that made this day so wonderful! The ROCC family is simply amazing in the level of service. We all worked really hard this week so it was rewarding to see so many come out for this opening weekend.

It is almost DONE!

The move has progressed very well! All week we have had numerous people come through to help move everything from our old building and into the new. I cannot thank everyone enough for your labor of love! All we have tomorrow is the rest of the chairs, some tables, a few of the children toys from the nursery and then we are finished.

The new church building is such a blessing for us as I know that God is going to really begin to do incredible things with us and through us. Pray with me that we will be the body of Christ in our community and that we will see His will accomplished through us!

Closing

Wow…what a feeling…I am the first here to the title company for this closing and they have me sitting here by myself as the young ladies just go on about their work. So, I just had this feeling like I was in trouble at school and waiting here for the dreaded meeting with the principal!

The Move Is ON!

Two Closings down and one to go!

Well…our journey of faith has now stepped into new territory. Yesterday we just about completed the closing for our current building and this morning we will do our initial closing on the new building. God has made this possible so we are walking into it with great expectation of what He is going to do with us and through us in our new home.

We will be moving all week so call and schedule a time that you can come and assist!
